aMule is a peer-to-peer file sharing application that works with the eDonkey2000 and Kademlia networks, but offers more features than the standard eDonkey client. Like eMule, aMule is Free software released under the GNU General Public License.

The stated goal of aMule is to be the "all-platform emule", with current support for Linux, Mac OS X, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Windows and Solaris Operating Environment.
