If you don't believe me you can always check this file and the file you download from the official page and check the MD5 sum on both. They should match. If they don't then Be sure to contact me wia PM.
No, this is the FINAL 0.4.0.1 build. I have downloaded the final release from the official main SF.net mirror from which others sync. This is not the files that BetaNews releases and can otherwise be found if you follow the Miranda IM Development log.

"0.4.0.1 - by Sam K (15/06/2005) 0.4.0.1 will be released soon, however like all things on the Internet, someone has decided they need to release it even earlier! BetaNews constantly keeps updating their site with TEST BUILDS.
I have contacted them on numerous occasions but it's fallen on deaf ears. If you are reading this and you have downloaded any build #'s off BetaNews, be smart and delete it for now."
