Celestia is a free real-time space simulation that lets you experience our universe in three dimensions. Unlike most planetarium software, Celestia doesn't confine you to the surface of the Earth. You can travel throughout the solar system, to any of over 100,000 stars, or even beyond the galaxy.

Windows Binary Package: celestia-win32-1.3.0.exe
If want to run Celestia on Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, or NT 4.0. If you have a graphics card with less than 16 megs of memory, the Celestia package with low resolution textures (celestia-lores-win32-1.3.0.exe) will run better on your system.

Source Package: celestia-1.3.0.tar.gz
This source package can be used to build either the UNIX or Windows version of Celestia. On UNIX you may, and on Windows you certainly will, need to obtain LIBPNG and the Independent JPEG Group's JPEG library. Eventually, I'll get around to packaging these libraries up for Windows users who want to build Celestia from source code.
