António Reis is TIM WATCHER, "a kind of a memory guardian". The first film by Ricardo da Costa Pinho tells the history of a fantastic character, present wherever small and great misfortunes occur to repair these moments with a positive look.

TIM WATCHER beckons the viewer to come and see the world in a different light.

Each of the film’s small scenes occur simultaneously, nevertheless TIM WATCHER observes them all, whilst concurrently donning various outfits. How is this possible? Each of these characters is, in fact, a different person. Any individual able to see the positive side of life becomes TIM WATCHER.

As this character is ubiquitous and will never cease to exist whilst there is someone with his view point, this is an open story, and so may well become a feature length film. Even off screen TIM WATCHER can, at any moment, become any single one of us.

In Portuguese with English subtitles embedded on video. Free release, with a creative commons license.
