Psi is the premiere Instant Messaging application designed for GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows, and Apple Mac OS X. Built upon an open protocol named XMPP or Jabber (also used by Google Talk, Journal's "LJ Talk" and Nokia's Ovi), Psi is a fast and lightweight messaging client that utilises the best in open source technologies. The goal of the Psi project is to create a powerful, yet easy-to-use Jabber/XMPP client that tries to strictly adhere to the XMPP drafts.and Jabber JEPs.

New in version 0.14:
- Added color options to the chat window.
* Can now specify a reason for kick/ban in groupchat.
* Improved User Info window, to show more fields and photo view/save.
* Support for Enchant as an alternative to Aspell.
* Commandline interface now supports choosing profile and setting status.
* D-BUS interface now supports setting status and indicating sleep/wake.
* Fixed voice calling compatibility bugs with Pidgin and Empathy.
* Various other minor improvements and bugfixes.
